Meet the 4th board!
In the academic year 2026/2027 we have the privilege of being the board of the coolest socialist student association of Nijmegen. Whether it’s organizing educational, active, creative or just gezellige activities, we each have our own talents and passions that we use to make sure that Spook has something for everyone. To having Spook be a student association where everyone can feel at home!

Board Hannie Schaft I
Voorzitter Hannie Schaft I (or, Justijn van Zanten)
I’m Justijn, 25 years old and a student at Radboud Docenten Academie. This year I will be the proud chair of the board (Hannie Schaft I) of SSV Het Spook. Last year I organised lots of cool cultural and educational events for Het Spook as a general board member. This academic year I hope we continue with many fun, engaging, creative, interesting, and most importantly gezellige activities. In my spare-time I like to engage with film, music, and(board)games. I also try to stay fit by doing many different sports (but mostly just the gym). I hope to provide guidance to fellow ghouls that want to organise events this year, and to have marvelous fun times with everybody joining our activities.
Mette Rijnbeek
Hii 🙂 I’m Mette, general board member of Spook this year! I’m currently in my second year of the master in Environment and Sustainability. I think gaining a community and having fun together is important for leftists in order to continue our fight for a better and more fair future. This is why I want to help in keeping Spook a place where both new and experienced socialists can talk, learn and do fun things. I love organizing craft activities and cozy movie nights but I’m also always up for a drink and a chat after a long week of ghouling. See you soon at our next activity!!! 👻
Nora de Beer
Hiii, my name is Nora, I am 19 years old and in my final year of Media Design at ROC Nijmegen. I am passionate about everything creative and visual. I often spend time sewing and free embroidery, and I also enjoy playing video games. During my year on the board, I will be helping to organize cool activities where you can share your interests and learn new things! I think it is important that Spook is a place where mbo, hbo, and wo students find each other as like-minded individuals, and where we form a close-knit community together! I hope to see you soon at one of our activities!
Mila de Geus
Hi! My name is Mila, I’m 21 and i’m a member of the 4th board of het Spook. In my free time I do a lot of work for the communist party RSP and its youth organization ROOD, which is where my passion lies. I also love to spend time meeting friends at a bar or café, painting digitally and playing story-based video games. I’m in my final year of studying graphic design at the ROC Nijmegen, and am very happy to be able to represent students following vocational education in the Spook board together with my classmate Nora. In the Spook board I want to focus on organizing fun activities for everyone and making sure that ROC and Yuverta students in particular are always included and heard. I hope to see you at het Spook soon!
Silvian Paauwe
Hello dear Ghouls! I am Silvian, 21 years old and a student at Radboud Universiteit. I am studying Cultural Anthopology and entering my third and probably final year of my bachelor. I love reading, films, sports (hiking, running, swimming, football), music and writing. You probably won’t meet me for the first few months of SPOOK events because I am in Norway on an exchange for some time but after this I will be back with you (unless I like Norway a bit too much). I really look forward to meeting the new SPOOK members and hosting/organizing fun and creative events with and for you! I especially look forward to the fun and crazy screenings we are going to host for you 🙂 See you in a bit!
